بررسی تحلیلی راهبردهای بیگانه سازی و بومی سازی در دو ترجمۀ فرانسوی شاهنامه

چکیده
چکیده: این جستار بر مبنای نظریۀ دوگانۀ لارنس ونوتی و الگوی پیشنهادی ناتالی رامی‌یر، به واکاوی دو ترجمۀ فرانسوی از شعر آغازین شاهنامه می‌پردازد. این مقاله که بر مبنای رویکردی تطبیقی تهیه شده، به ارزیابی میزان انحراف ضرب‌آهنگ و کمینه‌های فرهنگی موجود در متن مبدأ طی فرآیند ترجمه می‌پردازد. هدف این پژوهش ارتقای درک ما از تلاش مترجمان در برقراری نوعی تعادل میان خلاقیت و وفاداری به متن در برگرداندن جوهرۀ این اثر جاودانه است. پرسش اصلی مقاله این است: چگونه می‌توان راهبردهای دوگانۀ ترجمه— بیگانه‌سازی و بومی‌سازی- لارنس وِنوتی، در کنار روش‌ پیشنهادی ناتالی رامی‌یر، را به طور مؤثر در ترجمۀ اثری غنی و پرمحتوا همچون شاهنامه فردوسی به‌کار برد؟ نتایج حاصله حکایت از آن دارد که برای دستیابی به ترجمه‌ای روان و منسجم، این روشها به کار رفته‌است: انتقال اصطلاحات و ارجاعات فرهنگی به صورت تحت‌اللفظی، که منجر به حذف غنای فرهنگی آنها شده، یا جایگزینی آنها با عبارات تقریبی و مشابه با متن اصلی، اگرچه این امر موجب تحریف وزن شعر اصلی وشبکۀ معانی مرتبط با آن شده است.

Analytical study of foreignization and domestication strategies in two French translations of Shâhnâmeh

چکیده English
This article examines the concept of translation duality as articulated by Lawrence Venuti, in conjunction with the model established by Nathalie Ramière, to study two translations of the introductory poem of Shâhnâmeh. Using a comparative approach, this research seeks to evaluate the modifications in rhythm and cultural reference networks occurring during the translation process. The objective is to enhance our understanding of how translators strive to achieve a balance between creativity and fidelity in representing the essence of this timeless literary work. The primary inquiry of this article is: how can Venuti's strategies of foreignization and domestication, along with the complementary scheme proposed by Nathalie Ramière, be effectively used in the translation of a poetic work abundant in cultural elements such as Ferdowsi's Shâhnâmeh? The findings indicate that to ensure a smooth and coherent translation, cultural terms and references were either conveyed literally, thus lacking their cultural significance, or through approximate equivalents that closely resemble the source text, which resulted in a disruption of the original text's rhythm and the interconnected meanings it contained.
