Résumé

Depuis presque trois décennies, il y a eu d’importants travaux sur le rôle et la représentation des lieux et des paysages dans les textes littéraires, ce qui a donné lieu à de nombreuses théories.
Dans ce présent article, nous allons tout d’abord évoquer les différentes lectures de l’œuvre de Kenneth White ainsi que la nôtre. Par la suite, nous allons constater que non seulement la plupart des écrits de ce théoricien de la géopoétique évoquent des lieux réels à savoir océans, mers, rivages et paysages, ils transcrivent également le langage des oiseaux. Nous nous donnerons aussi pour objectif le rapport des poèmes de White à la terre : le « je » disparaît au fur et à mesure au profit du lecteur pour le mettre directement en contact avec l’écrit et l’univers. Comme objet iconique, le poème whitien se tourne vers lui-même mais il est également attentif à l’extérieur.

از حدود سه دهۀ پیش تاکنون، تحقیقات بسیاری در مورد نقش و معرفی مکان و دورنما در متون ادبی صورت گرفته که این امر باعث پیدایش نظریه‌های متعددی در این زمینه شده است.
هدف از نگارش این مقاله، ابتدا معرفی خوانش‌های متفاوت و همچنین خوانش نگارندگان از آثار کِنِت وایت است. سپس، مشاهده خواهیم کرد که نه تنها این نظریه‌پرداز، از مکان‌‌های حقیقی نظیر اقیانوس‌ها، دریاها، سواحل و مناظر نام می‌برد، بلکه صدای پرندگان را نیز به گوش می‌رساند. در ادامه، به ارتباط بین اشعار او و طبیعت خواهیم پرداخت: ضمیر "من" به‌مرور ناپدید می‌شود تا خواننده مستقیماً با نوشته‌هایش و جهان ارتباط برقرار کند. شعر وایت، به شیئی نمادین می‌ماند که نگاهش به سمت درون معطوف است و در عین حال به دنیای خارج نیز توجه دارد.

Kenneth White’s readings Man-Earth relation through places and landscapes

Résumé [English]

For almost three decades, there have been significant works on the role, and place and landscape representation in literary texts, which have given rise to numerous theories.









In this article, we discuss different readings of Kenneth White’s work, including our very own. We subsequently find that not only most of the writings of these geopoetics theories evoke real places, namely oceans, seas, shores and landscapes; they equally transcribe the language of birds. We will also set our sight on the objective of the relation of his poems to the earth: the "I" gradually fades for the benefit of the reader to put him directly in contact with written language and the universe. As an iconic object, the Whitian poem turns inward but it is also attentive to the exterior.
