Study of the affinities and differences in the lexical characteristics of French spoken in North America (Quebec, Acadia, Louisiana)
Résumé [English]
Since French is spoken on all five continents, it does not always have the same face and the same features in the entire French-speaking world. North America is one of the linguistic areas of the Francophonie, with particular interests for linguists who seek to study regionalisms and lexical features highlighting cultural and linguistic diversity within the Francophonie. In this article, we study the lexical peculiarities of French speakers in Quebec, Acadia and Louisiana in order to find the affinities and differences between these languages. After having analyzed the lexicographies concerning these zones; we have drawn up a typology of lexical peculiarities marking these languages which we categorize on two lexical and semantic levels. Thus we understand that despite the rapprochement between these languages forming part of the Francophonie of America, they differ in terms of lexical in addition to the phonetic and morphosyntactic aspects.
